The Nationals’ Member for Mildura, Jade Benham is urging everyone in the community to consider donating blood and plasma, as these vital donations literally save lives.
“While we can’t yet donate plasma in Mildura, I am actively working on bringing that capability to our region,” said Ms. Benham.
“However, if you find yourself in another city for business or pleasure, please consider finding your nearest donor centre.
“The Donor Centre in Mildura, is conveniently located right in the middle of town and easily accessible.”
Ms Benham encourages everyone to visit www.lifeblood.com.au to check their eligibility and donate.
“Now is the perfect time to give, as Lifeblood is currently offering milestone gifts to donors,” she added.
“Lifeblood’s Parliament of Victoria Pop-Up Donor Centre will operate in the September sitting week and I would urge all Members of Parliament to roll up their sleeves.”
