Dear Sir,
I was fortunate to attend the opening of Mildura’s Trail of Lights on Lock Island, which includes a breathtaking display featuring more than 12,500 firefly lights.
This project is set to shine a well-deserved spotlight on our region and is expected to bring more than 185,000 visitors to Mildura over the next two years, delivering a significant boost to our local tourism economy.
The Trail of Lights is an incredible opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience something truly unique. This is a world-class tourist attraction and art experience. With the addition of the FOSO installation at Wentworth, it will certainly shine a light on our region.
I encourage everyone to take the time to visit this spectacular attraction, support our local businesses, and showcase what makes our region so special.
I would like to congratulate Mildura Rural City Council and its collaborative and financial partners for their work in bringing this incredible installation to life. Their dedication to this project and promoting our region is a testament to their vision and hard work.
Well done to the entire team, who have worked tirelessly along with Bruce Munro.
You should be proud of yourselves.
