The Nationals’ Member for Mildura, Jade Benham, is delighted to announce that the Mildura Sikh Association has been awarded $400,000 in funding for critical infrastructure upgrades at the Gurudwara Singh Sabha in Mildura.
The funding will be used for the internal fit out of the next stage of the Sikh Association Community Centre. These upgrades will not only enhance the functionality and safety of the Gurudwara but also ensure it remains a welcoming and accessible place for the community.
“This is a significant investment in the Mildura Sikh Association and the broader community.
“The Gurudwara Singh Sabha is a central hub for many community activities, and these upgrades are essential to support its continued growth and accessibility for all.”
“I am proud to be part of a community that recognises the importance of supporting our local communities and their places of worship and refuge.
“The renovations are crucial to ensuring the facility is safe, modern, and able to meet the needs of our growing community,” said Ms Benham.
The Mildura Sikh Association is dedicated to promoting Sikh culture and values within the community. The Gurudwara Singh Sabha serves as a spiritual and cultural centre, providing a place for worship, community gatherings, and educational activities.
