Five children received a special prize and a set of cards featuring their designs. Alphie Jukes, Blake Downie, Olivia Doughty, Travis Canning and Jolie are the illustrators of the featured artworks.
With over eighty entries received all displayed in Ms Benham’s office, choosing one winner was a hard task.
Artworks received from all over the electorate from children aged four to eleven came flooding in for this year’s Christmas card competition.
“I asked the children of the Mildura electorate to create a design showing what Christmas meant to them.
“Our young students have incredible artistic talent and the designs they created were outstanding.
“The students took inspiration from a range of places and facets of life in our electorate, including our agriculture industry, our many lakes and rivers, sporting teams and local attractions.
“What really stood out to me was the representation of family that most entries included in their own backyards.
“Thank you to the parents, teachers and of course the children for taking the time to design a Christmas card for me this year.”
