As Easter approaches, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to everyone across our community. This time of year offers a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and spend meaningful time with family, friends, and loved ones.
Easter is a time for new beginnings, connection, and coming together—with our families, our friends, and our broader community. Whether you’re celebrating its religious meaning or simply enjoying the break, I hope this long weekend provides a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and enjoy all that our community has to offer.
It’s fantastic to see our region buzzing with energy as we welcome visitors from near and far. Events like the Powersports events, Listo Trapeze, Mildura Rowing Club regatta, Magenta Art Show, Pysche Pumps Running Day and so many more are putting our region on full display. This influx of tourism is not only a testament to everything our region has to offer—it’s also a vital boost to our local economy.
With more traffic on our roads, I encourage everyone to take care when travelling. And for those camping or enjoying our natural parks, please follow the authorities’ guidelines to stay safe and protect our environment.
Thank you to the volunteers, emergency services, local businesses, and event organisers working hard to make this Easter weekend such a success.
