Nationals’ Member for Mildura, Jade Benham, will run in the Nike Melbourne Marathon this October raising funds for local charity C.H.A.I.L.I.S (Children Having an Illness Living in Sunraysia).
“The work John and his volunteer committee do is inspiring and has helped many families for over 40 years.
“In 2022 C.H.A.I.L.I.S. was able to assist over 15 families in need,” said Ms Benham.
Sunraysia residents who require support can contact the team at info@chailis.org.au. C.H.A.I.L.I.S can provide support to link families in with local services, advocate on your behalf and provide financial assistance.
“I aim to conquer the Half Marathon (21.1 km) in under 2 hours and 10 minutes, all while raising funds for C.H.A.I.L.I.S. It’s a challenge that combines personal achievement with community impact,” said Ms Benham.
